Just thought I'd keep everyone up-to-date on American football doings while I'm out taking a walk.


Football news from Sweden,

The Hässleholm Hurricanes youth program is off to a flying start, about 30 kids at practice last week to start a new era in Hurricanes football, AWESOME!

Ystad has already qualified to play Djurgården next week in a Superseries relegation game.

The winner of Group II plays Arlanda in a Superseries relegation game next weekend.

When will the Huskies stop scheduling these private/parochial schools, everybody knows that they recruit players!

The Dawgs host Syracuse this weekend.

Jason Johnson's college coaching career starts this weekend as Pacific Lutheran travels to St. Paul, Minnesota to play Hamline. GOOD LUCK J'Son!!!

In high school football, Rio Mesa travels to San Marcos to open their season this Friday.

Michael Contreras' Hueneme H.S. J.V. team opened last weekend with a loss to Thousand Oaks 46-13. They will try to rebound this Friday against Santa Clara.

Finally, in the NFL, Scott Fujita will start the latest chapter of his nine year NFL career as his new team, the Cleveland Browns, travel to Tampa Bay to play the Bucaneers on Sunday.

Camarillo Cougars Junior2 Gold versus Lancaster Rebels in Lancaster....very HOT...we lost 32-7.
Camarillo Junior Gold vs Westlake Blue...we lost 22-7.

Today Camarillo High Freshmen vs Buena Freshmen at Buena....score to be posted afterward.

Yes, Sweden does. PeeWees ages 10-14 and Juniors which are high school ages.
